Margaret Martha Casella, 72, of Washington, died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 21, 2005.
She was born July 23, 1933, in Carnegie, a daughter of Albert and Mary Spoharski Ciesielski.
Mrs. Casella was a homemaker who enjoyed painting, artwork, traveling and sewing.
She was Catholic.
On September 6, 1952, she married John Robert Casella, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, John Michael Casella of Morgan; a daughter, Barbara Jean Witteman of Washington; two brothers, Edward S. Ciesielski of Meadville and Joseph S. Ciesielski of Cecil; two sisters, Eleanor Sudjak of Carnegie and Catherine Opczynski of Carnegie; 11 grandchildren, Gail (Keith) Hoppe, Christopher Casella, Gerard (Amanda) Schumacher, Victoria (Harry) Walaguiria, Christopher Chadwick, Robbie Witteman, Diana, Mike, Joe, Lynn and Kimberly Casella; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 24, with the Rev. Keith Hoppe officiating. Entombment will be in Washington Cemetery Mausoleum.
