Patricia Eva Cosentino

Patricia Eva Cosentino, 47, of Avella, died at 1:00p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2006, in her residence following a four-year illness. She was born December 21, 1958, in Mt. Lebanon, a daughter of John Russell of Bethel Park and Eva Reed Russell of Mt. Lebanon. Mrs. Cosentino graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School in 1976 and from West Penn School of Nursing in 1980. She had worked as a registered nurse for fifteen years at Shadyside Hospital where she was a 2004 Cameo Award winner. She initiated the “Shush Programâ€쳌 to bring quietness back to Shadyside Hospital. Mrs. Cosentino enjoyed gardening, biking, skiing and playing Scrabble. On January 21, 1984, she married Wayne Thomas Cosentino, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Carl Dean Cosentino, at home; one brother, John Russell of Mt. Lebanon; a sister, Laura Aston of Enfield, Connecticut; two nephews, John Russell and Shane Aston; one niece, Rachael Aston; and 38 first cousins. Deceased are one sister, Mary Reed Russell; grandparents, Eva and N. Dean Reed, and Ethel M. Sherrick Russell, RN. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, May 13. 2006, in Avella United Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Robert Waters officiating.
