Ryan Shawn Phillips, 21, of Washington, died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2006, in his home.
He was born April 9, 1985, in Washington, a son of Joyce Lynn Chadwick of Washington.
He was a 2003 graduate of Trinity High School and recently had graduated from Triangle Tech, where he studied to become an electrician.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing and hunting.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, is a half brother, Lewis Phillips of Washington; a half sister, Heather Phillips of Las Vegas, Nev.; his maternal grandmother, Elaine Chadwick of Washington; his paternal grandmother, Mary Hanlon of Claysville; three aunts, Linda Crowe, Janet Chadwick and Tonya Phillips; three uncles, Duane Chadwick, Dan Phillips and Mark Phillips; and several cousins.
Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 395 East Maiden Street, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, with the Rev. Larry G. Wiltrout officiating, followed by interment in Prosperity Cemetery.
