Frank Robert Knotts

Frank Robert Knotts, 68, of Washington, died Saturday, May 6, 2006, in the Donnell House, having been ill since 1999. He was born in Washington on August 2, 1937, a son of the late Frank D. and Opal Borror Knotts. Mr. Knotts was a retired truck driver and had worked more than twenty years for Columbia Gas Company. He previously had worked at Federal Paper. He enjoyed hunting, outdoor activities including lawn work, as well as restoring older vehicles. On November 25, 1960, he married Florence Kay Hennen, who died on June 22, 2001. Surviving are a son, Robert Knotts of Lodi, Ohio; two daughters, Denise and Angela Knotts, both of Washington; a brother, George Ronald Knotts of Washington; and eight grandchildren, Amber Makokele, West Jones, Elijah Jones, Kaleb Jones, Anthony Knotts, Josh Knotts, Teja Knotts, and Jesse Chakan. Mr. Knotts is preceded in death by a sister, Naoni Knotts who died at birth. Friends of Frank Robert Knotts, 68, of Washington, who died Saturday, May 6, 2006, will be received on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, where services will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2006, with Pastor Larry Leonard officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. the family is requesting memorial donations be made to; Donnell House, Leet Street, Washington, PA 15301 .
