He was born December 27, 1968, in Washington, a son of Robert Lee Sr. and Emma Jean McWee Johnson.
Mr. Johnson graduated from Washington High School in 1987. He was a shift supervisor/quality control technician at Coronado Paint Co. in Edgewater.
Mr. Johnson enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and spending time with his children.
On April 14, 1991, he married Shelley J. McBride, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Devon Scholato of Washington and John Joseph Johnson Jr. of Edgewater; a stepdaughter, Jessica Moore of Edgewater; two brothers, Robert Lee Johnson Jr. of Eighty Four and William Stephen Johnson of Washington; four sisters, Donna Darlene Myrick of Lexington, N.C., Karen Kathleen Forde of Hinesville, Ga., and Mary Marlene Johnson and Marie Maureen Stevens, both of Washington.
Friends will be received from 2 to 3 p.m., the hour of service, Saturday, July 22, in William G. Neal Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
The family asks that flowers be omitted and suggests memorial donations to Shelley Johnson, 2227 Woodland Drive, Edgewater, FL 32141.
