Dominic Mancina, 76, of Washington, died Thursday, July 20, 2006, in Donnell House, following a six-month illness. He was born August 10, 1929, in Washington, a son of John and Rose Pallette Mancina. Mr. Mancina was employed as a packer at Brockway #7, for thirty-five years. He was a member of Friendship Community Church and attended North Buffalo United Presbyterian Church. He loved God, family and friends. Mr. Mancina was a member of Buffalo Grange #1523, North Buffalo Dartball, Washington Senior Citizens Dartball, Route 19 Senior Citizens Bowling League. He also enjoyed gardening. Surviving are three brothers, Tony, Frank and Salvatore (Sam) Mancina, all of Washington; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Deceased are three brothers, Santa “Zuntâ€쳌 Munchie, Joseph Munchie, and John Mancina; and four sisters, Corilla Richmond, Mary Reese, Catherine Pierson, and Theresa Lindley.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 22, 2006, with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
