Sam Motil

Sam Motil of Maple Heights, Ohio, died Thursday, July 27, 2006. On October 1, 1940, he married Mary Lou Montecalvo, who died June 16, 1999. Surviving are a son, John (Darla) Motil of Bay Village, Ohio; a daughter, Cheri Pope of Macedonia, Ohio; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Anne Hatcher and Cathy Frameli. Friends will be received from noon to 1 p.m., the hour of a blessing service, Saturday, July 29, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Fr. Ed Czemerda officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. The family suggests memorials in his name to American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or Help Foundation.
