Receptionist for DuPont and U.S. Steel. Margaret Jean (Peggy) Hahn Barlow, 70, of Washington, died Saturday, July 29, 2006, in Donnell House. She was born March 30, 1936, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Thomas and Margaret Kirk Hahn. Mrs. Barlow graduated from Carrick High School in 1954. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She was a debt collector for Collection Service Center for 10 years and had been a receptionist for DuPont and U.S. Steel for many years. She enjoyed shopping and being with her family. On June 20, 1970, she married Samuel Donald Barlow, who died March 3, 1994. Surviving are a daughter, Kimberly Ann Barlow-Laxton, and her husband Kevin, of Lexington, SC.; two grandchildren, Shelby and Ryan Laxton; several nephews, one niece and many dear friends. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Prayers will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 2, in the funeral home followed by services at 10:30 a.m. in Trinity Episcopal Church, 550 South Main Street, Washington. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to Donnell House, 10 Leet Street, Washington, PA 15301.
