Milan Taleff, 61, of Washington, died Sunday, July 4, 2010, in the Donnell Hospice House, following a two year illness.
He was born in Bitola, Macedonia, on February 5, 1949, a son of the late Boris Taleff and Olga Sisko Taleff, of Washington. He was Eastern Orthodox by faith.
Mr. Taleff was last self-employed as owner of Milan Custom Tailor in Downtown Washington and prior to that had managed Victor’s Clothing in the Washington Mall for seventeen years.
He enjoyed golf and playing cards.
On March 25, 2006, he married Candace Selveggi Czmiel, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter Anna Taleff and a step-son, Paul Czmiel, both at home; a brother Lou Taleff of Irwin; a sister Margaret Taleff of Boston, MA; a nieces and nephews.
Friends of Milan Taleff, 61, of Washington, who died Sunday, July 4, 2010, will be received on Wednesday, from 7 to 9 PM in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, where services will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2010, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
