Jessica R. Goroncy

Attended McGuffey High School. Jessica Rae Goroncy, 18, of Ellsworth, died Saturday, August 12, 2006, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born July 23, 1988, in Carrolton, Texas, a daughter of Richard L. and Ada Metz Goroncy of Ellsworth. Miss Goroncy attended McGuffey High School. She was a member of North Ten Mile Baptist Church. She loved her cats and swimming. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are a daughter, Madesyn Goroncy, at home; paternal grandfather Frank Goroncy of Scenery Hill; and maternal grandmother Ruth Metz of Washington. Deceased are her paternal grandmother, Mary Adams Goroncy; and her maternal grandfather, Ray Metz. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, with the Rev. Gary Schneider officiating. Burial will follow in North Ten Mile Baptist Church Cemetery.
