John S. Mccormick

1980 graduate of Trinity H.S. John S. McCormick, 44, of Washington, died Sunday, June 4, 2006, in his home. He was born March 21, 1962, in Washington, a son of Theresa (Fedor) McCormick of Washington and the late Lloyd E. McCormick. Mr. McCormick was a 1980 graduate of Trinity High School and attended Point Park College. He was a member of St. Hilary Parish, Washington. Mr. McCormick worked for Community Care of Washington as a certified nursing assistant. He enjoyed dance performances, arts and theater, as well as spending time with his godchild, Sarah. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are two brothers, Jeffrey L. (Marjorie) McCormick of Washington and Joseph R. (Shelley) McCormick of Pittsburgh; a sister, Jeannine (Jack) May of Greenville; nieces and nephews Heather and Matthew McCormick, Patrick and Ellen McCormick and Sarah May; four aunts, Barbara (Marko) Velmer of Library, Dolores Steinstraw of Washington, Rosemarie (Wayne) Kraeer of Avella and Doris Jean (Robert) Mundell of Bergen, N.Y.; and many cousins. Viewing will be private and at the family's convenience. There will be no public visitation. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
