Bobbie Sensky Shuman, 79, of Washington, died August 7, 2006, in Washington Hospital, following a brief illness.
She was born January 15, 1927, in San Antonio, Texas, a daughter of Leon and Mabel Nixon Fritz.
Mrs. Shuman was a member of Wolfdale Bible Chapel.
She received her license for practical nursing in Texas and was employed by Washington County for thirty-two years, working at Washington County Health Center as a practical nurse, retiring in 1980.
Mrs. Shuman enjoyed bingo, going to horse races and gardening. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her first husband, Harold Sinclair, died in 1978. On January 30, 1982, she married Junior Robert Shuman, who died October 12, 1982.
Surviving are a son, Danny R.(Joyce Ann) Sinclair, of Morgantown, West Virginia; two daughters, Wanda (George) Bolinsky, of Washington, and Dorothy J. Rowe, of Washington; three brothers, Leroy Fritz, of San Antonio, Texas, Owen Fritz, of California, and Leon Fritz, of Washington; a sister, Virgie, of San Antonio; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Della Simms and a son, Delbert E. Sinclair.
Friends will be received 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2006, with the Rev. Fred Helmick officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
