Thomas Frederick Rowe, 92, of Washington, died Tuesday, August 8 2006, in Washington County Health Center following a six –month illness.
He was born April 25, 1914,in Washington, a son of Fred and Agnes Ford Rowe.
Mr. Rowe was a Jehovah’s Witness.
He was employed in sales for Lifetime Distributing for 35 years. Mr. Rowe was a musician and played in the W&J Band, which his father directed.
On November 10, 1946, he married Marie Mickanin, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, David F. (Bonnie) Rowe of Washington and Thomas F. (Janice) Rowe, Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada; a brother, Ed Rowe of Washington; two sisters, Lillian Barnhart of Washington and Martha McBride of Fayetteville, Georgia; two grandchildren, Melissa Phelps and David F. Rowe, Jr.; and one great-grandchild, Logan G. Rowe.
Deceased are a brother, George Rowe; and two sisters, Agnes Tarr and Elizabeth McVay.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 12th, in the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall, Cleveland Road, Washington, with Gordon J. Orr officiating.
