Larry William Thomas, 59, of Canonsburg, died Monday, October 2, 2006, in Canonsburg General Hospital, following a three-month illness.
He was born December 5, 1946, in Washington, a son of William Harry and Jeannie Ramona Simms Thomas.
Mr. Thomas attended Washington High School and was a self-employed painter. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.
On October 1, 1965, he married Alberta LaSalvia, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Larry William (Shannon) Thomas Jr. of Philadelphia; four daughters, Denise (Eugene II) Rafter of Claysville, Dianna Lynn (Merle) Hambleton, Debra (Theodore Jr.) Green and Doreen (Guy) Dingle, all of Washington; a sister, Darlene Cahill; and seven grandchildren, Joseph, Breanne, Miranda, Guy, Balicia, Brittany and Morgan.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Home Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 5, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Washington Cemetery.
