Patricia Jean Johnston, 80, of Washington, died at 12:02 a.m. Sunday, October 15, 2006, in her home.
She was born December 7, 1925, in Washington, a daughter of Frank and Marion Hazlett Aber.
Mrs. Johnston was a 1943 graduate of Washington High School and had been a secretary for American Cancer Society.
She was a member of Trinity Bible Fellowship Church, Washington. She enjoyed sewing, needlework and reading.
On March 16, 1948, she married Jack Ellsworth Johnston, who died November 6, 1997.
Surviving are a son, Jay and wife Susan Johnston of Washington; a daughter, Jill and husband Gerald Yoders of Washington; a brother, Frank Aber Jr. of Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Barbara Baldwin of Washington; five grandchildren, Heather and Brian Johnston, Joseph and David McCloskey and Theresa Engle; three stepgrandchildren, Scott and Chris Yoders and Gretchen Geruschat; six great-grandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased, in addition to her husband, is a sister, Louise Roche.
