Linda Rudy-Yeager

Linda L. Rudy-Yeager, 70, of Washington, died Wednesday, November 1, 2006, in her residence. She was born July 15, 1936, in East Liverpool, Ohio, a daughter of Walter Riley Norris and Glenna Lucille Booth Norris. Mrs. Rudy-Yeager was a graduate of Wells High School in Newell, West Virginia, and attended Ohio Valley Business College. She was employed as a desk clerk at Ramada Inn for 31 years, retiring in 2001, and was an Avon representative for many years. Mrs. Rudy-Yeager was a member of Jessop Employee Club and an auxiliary member of the American Legion. Her first husband, Robert M. Rudy, died in 1971. Her second husband, James Yeager, died in 1991. Surviving are three sons, Richard A. Rudy and Robert M. Rudy, both of Washington, and James D. Rudy of Kingston, New York; a half brother, Richard Norris; a half sister, Pam Hamms of Dayton, Ohio; six grandchildren, Nicole, Mikel, Christina, Sierra and Bryan Rudy and Emmanuelle Rudy-Paradise; and one great-grandchild, Jacob Dominic Rudy. Deceased is a son, Mark L. Rudy. Friends will be received 1 to 4 p.m., the hour of service, Saturday, November 4, 2006, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
