Amelia Marry

Amelia Marry, of Washington, passed in the Donnell House peacefully on Tuesday, November 2, 2010. She was born November 21, 1921, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of James and Fredrica Guzzo Montecalvo. Amelia was an excellent cook and loved to feed all that came to her home, which she lovingly shared with her husband of 65 years, Nello Marry. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Dennis (Helen) Marry of San Clemente, California, and Mark (Marcie) Marry of Washington; seven grandchildren, Christian, Jonas, Jenna, Jaclyn, Jordan, Alex and Marque; several great grandchildren; a sister, Rose Mazzie; a brother, James Montecalvo; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two sons, Jerome Marry and Vincent Marry; two sisters, Liz Hartley and Mary Lou Motil; and a brother, Guy Montecalvo. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a Blessing Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 5th, with Father Thomas O’Neil officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Donnell House, Hospice Care of the Washington Hospital, 155 Wilson Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
