Thelma A. Hanna, 92, of Washington, died Sunday, September 10, 2006, in the Washington County Health Center following a lengthy illness. She was born in Washington on May 21, 1914, a daughter of Robert and Freda Pabst Harshman.
In her working years, she had once worked as a cook at the Victory Diner in Washington and later was a private duty nanny for the Fitch family.
Her husband, Walter Hanna is deceased.
Surviving are four sons, William, Edward, Richard, and Robert Hanna, all of Washington; three daughters, Dolores Tarr, Cheryl Coats, both of Washington, and Patricia Onopiuk of Prosperity; twenty-eight grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Preceding her in death are a son, Jack Hanna; a brother John Harshman; a sister Grace Harshman who died as an infant; and a great-grandchild.
Friends of Thelma A. Hanna, 92, of Washington, who died Sunday, September 10, 2006, will be received on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, where services will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2006, at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at a later date in Washington Cemetery.
