Lauri Ann Glendenning Matheny, 37, of Washington, died Friday, August 25, 2006, in Donnell House, following a two-year illness.
She was born December 23, 1968, in Washington, a daughter of Harry E. and Bonnie Blough Glendenning of Washington.
A member of Immaculate Conception Church, Mrs. Matheny attended Washington High School.
She was employed at Foodland as a clerk and had worked at Crossroads Food Mart.
She enjoyed her children and gardening.
On May 8, 1993, she married Stephen Guy Matheny, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Daniel Stephen Matheny and a daughter, Ashley Nicole Matheny, both at home; three sisters, Deborah Lynn Chicora of Houston and Lynn Ann (Donald) Molinari and Trace Mae (David) Simpson, both of Washington.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Home Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday, August 28, in Immaculate Conception Church, 135 West Chestnut Street, Washington. Entombment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Memorial donations to Donnell House or Albert Gallatin Hospice.
