Betty Jane Donaldson Filauro, 85, of Hickory, died at 9:07 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2006, in her home, following an 18-month illness.
She was born June 6, 1921, in Washington County, a daughter of Charles Edward and Minnie Kelley Clemens.
Mrs. Filauro was a homemaker.
As a child, she attended a United Presbyterian church.
Her first husband was Herbert Edward Miller.
In 1946, she married William J. Donaldson, who died in 1978.
Her third husband was Tony Filauro, who died in 1987.
Surviving are a son, Charles E. Miller of Hickory; three sisters, Mary Walters and Clara Bell "Pooch" Goughenour of Hickory and Margaret Grabski of Westland; two grandsons, Thomas Miller and David John Pacyna; and four great-grandchildren, Thomas Miller Jr., Jason Pacyna, James Pacyna and Danielle Wallack.
Deceased are a brother, Russell Clemens; two sisters, Beulah Ellen and Helen Cook; a grandson, Dennis James Pacyna; and two great-grandchildren, Drew Miller and Michael John Pacyna.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service, Saturday, September 2, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. R. Douglas Reinard officiating.
Burial will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory.
