Jack L. Holmes

Jack L. Holmes, 68 of Washington, died October 9, 2017 at home. He was born July 21, 1949 in Morgantown, WV, the son of the late Carl T. Holmes and Opal McBee Holmes. Jack graduated from McGuffey High School and was self-employed in construction. He enjoyed NASCAR and the Cleveland Browns. Surviving is his wife Ruth Ann Kreger Holmes; a son, Jack L. (Kellie Conway Ryburn) Holmes Jr. of Prosperity; a daughter, Jill R. (Ron) Todd of Washington; a sister, Barbara (Dave Conaway) Cage of Washington; three grandchildren, Kayla Holmes, Jessica Holmes and Madison Ryburn; numerous nieces and nephews. Deceased are his siblings, James Holmes, Erma Gray, Walter “Bud” Holmes, Thomas Holmes, Evelyn Morris, Carl “Junie” Holmes Jr., Mary Holmes. Friends will be received Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. the time of service at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington. Burial is private.
