Robert E. “Bobby T” Tarr, 59, of Washington, died on October 3, 2017, in the Washington County Health Center.
He was born on September 14, 1958, in Washington, a son of the late Thomas Eugene and Norma Jean Ruetschi Tarr.
Bob was a 1977 graduate of Trinity High School.
He Worked for Molycorp, and Finley Refractories, later becoming a self-employed handyman.
Bob enjoyed fishing, sports, camping, traveling to Disney, and was very involved as a softball and baseball coach locally.
On February 9, 1985, he married Candace Davis, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Shana (fiancé, Matt Slogan) Tarr, of Jacksonville, FL; a son Matthew Tarr of Washington; sister, Kellye J. (Scott) Kimberland, of Washington; mother in-law Shirley J. Bilby, of Washington; as well as several cousins, aunts & uncles.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Home, ltd. 925 Allison Avenue Washington, PA 15301, followed immediately by a brief service, to be conducted by Reverend Michael Lehman.
