Betty Lou Larkin

Betty Lou Larkin, 85 of Washington, died Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at the Donnell House. She was born June 27, 1932 in Claysville, the daughter of the late Edward Simms and Hazel Jean Westfall Simms. Betty was a 1950 graduate of Trinity High School and worked in accounts payable at Fairmont Supply for many years. She was a member of Fourth Presbyterian. Betty enjoyed playing cards, bingo and going to the casino. She loved spending time with her great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her dog, Sam. On September 3, 1950, she married Harold William Larkin, who died August 25, 2015 in Washington. Surviving are a son, Michael (Cathy) Larkin of Washington; a sister, Jean Dicks of Washington; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Terry) Marth, Kristi (Eric) Dalnoky, Mike (Danielle) Larkin and Billy (Chelsea) Larkin; 10 great grandchildren. Deceased are a son, Billy Larkin; two brothers, Edward and Harold; and three sisters, Marie, Stella, and Theta.Friends will be received Friday, September 15, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery.
