Wilma Marie Rush, 89, of Washington, died on Monday, September 4, 2017, in the Washington Hospital.
She was born on December 23, 1927, a daughter of the late William and Luna Wrick Fieldson.
Mrs. Rush was a graduate of Mapletown High School, in Greensboro, PA.
Wilma was formerly a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Waynesburg, and more recently of Central Assembly of God, in Houston.
She worked as a waitress for many years at the Waynesburg Restaurant, where she worked hard to raise her seven children.
Mrs. Rush was constantly baking, and also enjoyed cooking. She loved to make special dishes for people who visited her.
On September 7, 1988, she married Donald Rush, who died on May 28, 2015.
Surviving are four sons, George (Marlene) Harrison, of Waynesburg, Clyde (Michelle) Harrison, of Waynesburg, Gary (Rene) Harrison, of Prosperity, and Scotty (Samantha) Harrison, of Washington; three daughters, Susan (Ed) Blakeney, of Glenn Burney, MD, Cynthia Phillips, of Waynesburg, and Rebecca (Jeff) Anderson, of Washington; one brother, Bill (Bonnie) Fieldson, of Minnesota; sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-seven great grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Robert Fieldson.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, from 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Home, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA 15301, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 7, 2017.
Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
