Donald Keith Stanley, 65, of Washington, died unexpectedly Friday, September 1, 2017. He was born April 26, 1952, in Washington, the son of John Stanley and Marie Simms Stanley. Donald attended McGuffey High School and worked as a truck driver for Tarr Concrete, prior to his retirement. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry and spending time with his grandchildren. On June 3, 1977, he married Helen Jones, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Chuck (Sherry) Noble of Washington; two daughters, Shannin (Clint) Flowers of Washington and Nicole Thompson of Washington; a brother, Robert (Norma) Stanley of Alabama; three sisters, Louise Stanley of Pittsburgh, Elizabeth (Troy) Breese of Washington and Joyce (Joe) Burgess of Washington; thirteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews. Deceased are two sons, Brandin Noble and Tommy Noble; and a brother, James M. Stanley. Friends will be received Tuesday, September 5, 2017, from 3 to 5 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington. A private burial will be held at a later date at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
