Pamela V. Norris

Pamela V. Norris, 72 of Washington, passed over to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at UPMC-Presbyterian Hospital. She was born October 9, 1944 in New Martinsville, WV, the daughter of the late Cyril Wright and Velma Phillips Wright. Pam graduated from Valley High School in Pine Grove, WV and attended West Virginia University. She worked at Washington & Jefferson College for close to 10 years, before retiring in 2015. Pam was an active member of the Allison Ave Church of Christ. Her family was her life, spending as much time with her children and grandchildren as she could. She touched many lives in her brief 72 years and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. On June 11, 1966, she married Richard Norris, who survives. Also surviving are her three children, Stephen (Diane) Norris of Canonsburg David Norris of Lafayette, IN, and Suzanne (David) Justus of Scenery Hill; four grandchildren, Michael Norris, Jonathan Norris, Cydnie Justus and Carlie Justus. Deceased is a brother, Gregory Wright. A Memorial Service will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on September 16, 2017 at the Church of Christ, 700 Allison Ave, Washington. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
