Robert Charles Abrams

Robert Charles Abrams, 87 of Washington, died Monday, August 28, 2017 at Transitions Health Care. He was born November 28, 1929 in Washington, the son of the late Gus Abrams and Rebecca “Sebe” Ellis Abrams. Robert was a graduate of Washington High School and attended Penn Commercial for 2 years. He worked at the #2 glass factory for 20 years, Night Cap Lounge for 20 years and Sebe’s Market for 46 years. Robert was a member of Christian Church of North America. He enjoyed going to the race track. On September 13, 1950, he married Mary Morais, who died July 4, 2014. Surviving are a son, Robert G. (Deborah) Abrams of Washington; a daughter, Ramay (Richard) Horner of Washington; two sisters, June Interval and Margaret (Patrick) Reese; four grandchildren, Echo (Damon) Muncie, Cigi (Chet) Henderson, Clayton and Jordan Jackson; five great grandchildren. Deceased is a daughter, Mary Alyce Abrams. Friends will be received Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington where services will be held Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery.
