Robert Glenn Zrimsek, 72, of Eighty-Four, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 20, 2017, in his home.
He was born on May 1, 1945, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Richard Kirkwood, and Anna Zrimsek.
A graduate of Oliver High School, he also received a degree from Vo-Tech School.
Mr. Zrimsek worked as a factory worker for McGraw Edison, for twenty-five years, and was a LPN at Washington Greene ARS, for fifteen years.
He was Catholic by faith.
Robert was a fan of all Pittsburgh sports, an avid movie and book collector, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He loved watching his children and grandchildren playing sports.
On November 25, 1971, he married Catharine E. Stafford, who survives.
Also surviving, are two sons, Jeremy D. (Megan) Zrimsek, of Castle Shannon, and Chad E. (Sara) Zrimsek, of Washington; two daughters, Darrelle D. Windham, of Bethel Park, and Alyssa B. (fiancé, Cameron T. Gross) Zrimsek, of Pittsburgh; a brother, Richard (Christy) Kirkwood, of Washington; two sisters, Donna (Gary) Anderson, of Eighty-Four, and Rose (John) Wilson, of Washington; and seven grandchildren, Lennon, Matthew, Macy, Mayleigh, Scarlett, Carter, and Kyle.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 24, 2017.
Burial will follow in Oak Spring Cemetery.
