Sandra Lee Tinsley

    Sandra Lee Tinsley of Washington passed away unexpectedly in her home on August 1, 2017. She was born October 25, 1943 in Washington, the daughter of the Late Edward Anderson and Alice Grayson. Sandra graduated from Trinity high school, and attended Penn Commercial, were she studied nursing and welding. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Mayview State hospital, and she also worked in home health. She enjoyed reading scary books, spending time with family, walking, and cooking. Sandra had a great sense of humor and was very proud of her kids and grandchildren. Surviving are two sons Larry E. Thompson and Lonny Tinsley both of Washington; Two daughters, Gloria Thompson-Catlin (John) and Carmen Thompson both of Washington; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Deceased in addition to her parents are a granddaughter Alexis Barnett; grandson Ryan Michael Tinsley. Friends will be received Monday, August 7, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington. Services will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Walter Cherry officiating, burial following in Washington Cemetery.
