Florence Kohlmyer Davis, 91 of Washington, formerly of Peters Township died Sunday, July 23, 2017 at the Washington County Health Center. She was born July 15, 1926 in Lorain, Ohio, the daughter of the late Adolph Kohlmyer and Florence Bloedorn Kohlmyer. Florence graduated from Wittenberg University and then worked as a bus aide for Upper St. Clair School District. She was also a homemaker. She was a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church, the Western Golf Association, life member of Washington Country Club, Hidden Valley Country Club. Florence enjoyed spending time with family, golf and playing Bridge. On May 27, 1953, she married Sidney Alexander Davis, who died December 25, 2015. Surviving are three daughters, Cynthia (Wallace) McCarrell of Washington, Cheryl (John) Christopher of Boston, MA and Carolyn Davis of Upper St. Clair; three grandchildren, Leslie (Eric) Zito, Andrew McCarrell and Michelle McCarrell; a great grandchild, Brooks Davis Zito; sister in law, Mary Kohlmyer; numerous nieces and nephews. Deceased are four brothers, Ernest, Henry, Kernel and Adolph Kohlmyer. All services are private. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
