Bettyjean Ruth Thomas

Bettyjean Ruth Thomas, 68 of Washington, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Donnell House. She was born July 20, 1948 in New York, New York, the daughter of the late Harley Green and Janet Golubosky Green. Bettyjean was a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked at Humbert Lane and most recently Presbyterian Senior Care. She was a member of West Alexander Presbyterian Church. Surviving are a son, Joseph R. Thomas of Deer Lick; two daughters, Kristina M. Thomas and Tracey M. (Matthew J.) Barrie both of Washington; two sisters, Ellen Bamberger and Brenda Fields both of Washington; four grandchildren, Miranda Levers, Donald Levers, Shelby Barrie and Matthew Barrie Jr.; nieces and nephews, Harold (Cathy) Loar Jr., Janet Lynne Anderson, Ken McCracken, Kevin McCracken, Kristal Fields, Dana Fields, Paul Fields, Reed Bamberger, Amie Golick, Jennifer Bamberger; former husband, William Thomas of Deer Lick for 29 years. Deceased are a brother, Robert Green and a sister, Barbara Loar. There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
