Bonnie Jo Matson, 51, of Washington, died on Monday, July 17, 2017, in the Donnell House.
She was born on January 3, 1966, in Washington, a daughter of Virginia Burns Six, and the late Bill Six.
A graduate of McGuffey High School, Mrs. Matson attended Slippery Rock University, and received a diploma in business from Penn Commercial.
She was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.
Mrs. Matson worked for two years at CVS Pharmacy, five years for Goodwill Industries, and most recently as a supervisor and cashier for Shop N Save.
Bonnie Jo loved her grandchild, and found great joy in spending time with her. She also enjoyed going to flea markets, yard sales, camping, and traveling.
On September 3, 2005, she married William J. Matson, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Cheyanne (Cory) Thomas, of Washington; a stepdaughter, Christine Matson, of Eighty-Four; a stepson, Derek Matson, of Washington; and her granddaughter, Ryleigh Thomas, of Washington.
Deceased is a stepdaughter, Britney Matson.
Friends will be received on Friday, July 21, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 22, 2017, with Pastor David Decker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
