Mary L. Wilson, 92, of Washington, died on Monday, July 3, 2017, in her home.
She was born on November 4, 1924, in Burgettstown, a daughter of the late Wilbur Lee and Virginia Pettit Moore.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of Grace Bible Church, West Middletown.
Mary loved spending time with her family, and enjoyed doing word searches and puzzles. She found joy in little children, and interacted with them whenever she saw them.
On November 10, 1947, she married Robert A. “Bob” Wilson, Jr., who died on October 5, 2002.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandy (Dean) Fry, of Washington, and Rebecca (Walter) Jaworski, of Ingham, Queensland, Australia; a brother, Harry Moore, of Clarington, OH; two sisters, Alma Schwab, of Atlasburg, and Martha Jane Briggs, of West Alexander; and six grandchildren, Ben, Amy and Seth Jaworski, and Timothy, Jonathan, and Nathan Fry.
Deceased are four brothers, Wilbur, Samuel, Charles, and William Moore, and a sister, Nora Phillips.
Friends will be received on Sunday, July 9, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., July 10, 2017.
Burial will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery.
