Marjorie Blanche Kirschner, 88 formerly of Washington, passed away, Thursday, June 29, 2017 at St. Norbert’s Personal Care Home in Overbrook.
She was born June 25, 1929 in Independence, the daughter of the late Clarence MeNeely and Juanita Cooper MeNeely.
Marjorie was a graduate of Avella High School and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Washington Alliance Church.
Marjorie enjoyed gardening, baking, singing, attending church. She also loved taking care of her family and her home.
On June 7, 1950, she married Samuel Kirschner, who died January 12, 2011.
Surviving are her son, David (Sandy) Kirschner of Mt. Vernon, PA; a grandchild, Samuel David Kirschner of Mt. Vernon, PA and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents are six brothers, Emmitt, Charles, Clarence, Keith, Harry and Harold and a sister, Naomi Beulah.
Friends will be received Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Independence Cemetery.
