Thomas “Tom” Angelo Santelli, 61 of Prosperity, died Friday, June 23, 2017 at home.
He was born December 20, 1955 in Washington, the son of the late Thomas Guy Santelli and Adeline “Addie” Carr.
Tom was a 1973 graduate of Trinity High School and served in the U.S. Army with 101st Airborne and received the National Defense Service Medal.
He worked for Douglass Pile for 18 years as a heavy equipment operator, driller and mechanic. He was also a member of the operating engineers Local #66.
Tom was Catholic by faith.
He was an honorary life member of Frazier-Simplex Rifle Club, a self-taught guitar musician, a knife maker, instrument rated pilot. He loved fly fishing, hunting, camping and building his own antique log home.
On June 16, 1978, he married Cynthia L. “Cindy” Barlow, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Caroline M. (Junior) Hall of Clarksville; a son, Thomas W. “Tommy” Santelli of Prosperity; a brother, Dale M. (Heather) Sparks of Canonsburg; three grandchildren, Junior Thomas “JT” Hall, Johnathan Michael Hall and Haven Cecilia Hall all of Clarksville; several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a brother, Jay Santelli.
Friends will be received Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 1 to 6 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
