Mary M. Miller, 93 of Washington, died Monday, June 5, 2017 at the Donnell House. She was born February 12, 1924 in Marianna, the daughter of the late Bartolo Pete Menegus and Rose Caltuna Menegus. Mary was a graduate of Washington High School and attended Penn Commercial. She worked at Washington Federal for 25 years as a loan officer. She was a member of Laboratory Presbyterian Church and made clothes for the Love Basket at church. Mary enjoyed knitting and was a life member of Beta Sigma Phi and a longtime member of KnitWhits. On March 10, 1943, she married Melvin “Earl” Miller, who died February 4, 2011. Surviving are a son, Scott (Karen Clark) Miller of South Strabane; a daughter Edla “Eddie” Bradley of Washington; two grandchildren, Amy (Billy) Barr and Lisa (Michael) King; seven great grandchildren, Justin, Lauren, Shelby and Hannah Barr, Santana, Julian and Angelina King; two great great grandchildren, Avery Barr and Isla Russell. Deceased is a sister. At the requested of the deceased all services are private. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
