Louis Rollie-Eddie Goodwell

Louis E. “Rollie-Eddie” Goodwell, 67 of Washington, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the Washington Hospital. He was born January 21, 1950 in Washington, the son of the late Louis Vincent Goodwell and Iva Mae Hannen Goodwell. Mr. Goodwell was a 1967 graduate of Trinity High School and worked as the parts manager for Royal Chevrolet and Washington Chevrolet. He attended North Buffalo Presbyterian Church and coached Wolfdale Midget Football and Trinity North Football. He was a Steelers, Pirates and NASCAR fan and loved his grand puppies. On September 15, 1979, he married Mertie Jane Cross, who survives. Also surviving is a son, Doug (Jennifer) Goodwell of Devine, TX. Deceased in addition to his parents is a sister, Kathy Goodwell. Friends will be received Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Venice Cemetery.
