Lois R. Calloway, 77, died Friday May 19, 2017 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 29, 1940, in Washington, a daughter of the late Robert L Gatling Sr and Frances M Gatling Mrs. Calloway enjoyed watching her soap operas, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church, Western Stars #3, Alpha Council #1 and a retired employee of Brockway Glass Company, all of Washington. On July 15, 1989, she married John R. Calloway, deceased. Surviving are a daughter Helen R Gatling; two sons John Christopher (Deb) Heyman and David T (Tara) Gatling Sr. all of Washington; four step daughters Marie Colbert, Vickie Patterson, Patricia Patterson all of Washington and Wilzena Patterson of Atlanta Georgia; a sister Clara E Harper of Washington; a brother Robert L Gatling Jr. of Washington; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren; four nieces and a nephew. Deceased is a daughter Phyllis Gatling-Harris. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday May 24, 2017, at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 35 Central Ave, Washington with Pastor Debra Mason officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd, 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
