Phyllis Josephine Capo, 89, of Washington, died on Monday, May 8, 2017, in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born on March 8, 1928, in Browntown, PA, a daughter of the late John and Emily Jamrone Czyz.
Phyllis was Catholic by faith.
Mrs. Capo had worked at Lang’s Department Store, as a seamstress.
She loved going to the casino, and enjoyed flower gardening, bingo, and sewing.
On January 22, 1946, she married Joseph Capo, who died in October, 2002, after fifty-six years of marriage.
Surviving are a son, Richard (Mickey) Capo, of Madera, Ca.; two daughters, Diana (Edward) Mahland, of Washington, and Adele Reeves, of Sacramento, CA; six grandchildren, Dana (Sheridan) McWreath, E.J. Mahland, Brent Mahland, Brittany (Chris) Juzwick, Michele Chavez, and Melissa Bell; six great grandchildren, Jazmine Jackson, Miranda Chavez, Michael Chavez, Sydney McWreath, Tenley Juzwick, and Aubree Mahland; a special niece, Donna (Jerry) Wilson, and several additional nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, John and Dominic, and two sisters, Adella and Genevieve.
A Blessing Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA 15301.
Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
