Howard Wrenwick Allen Jr.

Howard Wrenwick “Wrinnie” Allen Jr., 55 of Washington, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the Washington Hospital. He was born October 9, 1961, in Washington, a son of the late Howard W. Allen Sr. and Sarah Jane Fletcher Allen. Wrinnie was a graduate of Trinity High School, and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He previously was a member of Calvary Temple. Throughout his life he was an artist, photographer, writer, an avid outdoorsman, and was known for his great sense of humor. He was also very compassionate with everyone he encountered He was a member of Sober 24, and he once worked at ARC. Surviving are fifteen siblings, including two brothers, William Joseph Allen, of Vietnam, and John McKay, of Golden Valley, AZ; four sisters, Thelma Allen, of Pittsburgh, Mary Moss, of Strabane, Ruthy Allen of Eighty-Four, and Casey Allen, of Virginia Beach, VA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Deceased are three sisters, Betty Paige, June Yater and Leona Mull. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington. Memorial Donations can be made the Washington County Humane Society, P.O.
