Joseph Anthony Traficanti

Joseph Anthony Traficanti, 87 of Washington, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the Washington County Health Center. He was born October 6, 1929 in Pittsburgh, the son of the late William Patrick Trafican and Angeline Tominello Trafican. Joseph was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked at Emerson Electric and the Postal Service and was also a barber. He was a member of North Ten Mile Baptist Church. Joseph enjoyed hunting, being outdoors. playing cards, all animals and loved spending time with family. On April 5, 1956, he married Rhea Edwards, who died July 24, 1979. On August 6, 1988, he married Lenora Reese, who survives. Also surviving are Daniel J. (Kristine) Traficanti, of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Tanya (Daniel) Oslowski of Austin, TX; four grandchildren, Daniel Jr., Cameron, Ryan and Andrea. Deceased are two brothers, William Patrick and Phillip. Friends will be received Friday, April 28, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington. Additional visitation will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 10 to 11 a.m. the time of service at the North Ten Mile Baptist Church. Burial will follow North Ten Mile Baptist Cemetery.
