Joan E. Tustin, 85, of Washington, died on Thursday, April 20, 2017, in the Washington Hospital.
She was born on June 12, 1931, in Eldred, PA, a daughter of the late Roland and Ruth McNamee Johnson.
Mrs. Tustin was a graduate of Otto High School, in Eldred.
Joan was a graduate of Pittsburgh Beauty Academy, and she cut hair at various beauty salons in Washington, prior to working in the laundry department at the Washington Hospital, where she was employed until she retired.
She enjoyed coloring in adult coloring books, crocheting, Facebook, and computer games.
On June 13, 1958, she married Wayne S. Tustin, who died on January 12, 1999.
Surviving are two daughters, Tammy S. (Tony) Belcastro, of Washington, and Lori Ann (the late Mark) Phillips, of Washington; a brother, Donald (Monica) Johnson, of Eldred; two sisters, Sandra (Tom) Wilson, of Bradford, and Carol (the late Rodney “Herk”) Steck, of Lewis Run; four grandchildren, Anthony (Ashley) Belcastro, of Washington, Matthew (Casey) Belcastro, of Beechview, Mark (Amanda) Phillips, Jr., of Claysville, and Kadie Joanne Phillips, of Washington; four great grandchildren, Anthony “A.J.” Belcastro, Alina Belcastro, Mara Phillips, and Emmelyn Phillips, and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a sister, Susan Haskins.
Friends will be received on Monday, April 24, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, April 25, 2017.
Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray, PA.
