Anna Mae Byers, 81 of Washington, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at South Hills Rehabilitation and Wellness Center.
She was born February 17, 1936 in Amity, the daughter of the late James E. King and Emma Pearl Temple King.
Anna retired from the Jessop Employee Club, where she bartended for many years.
She enjoyed fishing, gambling, sports, crocheting. She played for the Jessop Club Dartball and many other leagues.
Anna was married for over 40 years to Charles L. Byers, who died January 11, 2017.
Surviving are a daughter, Viola P. (Howard) Sanney of Claysville; five sons, Larry (Christina) Berdine, James (Ann) Berdine, Jerry Berdine, Johnny Berdine and Bill (Judy) Berdine all of Washington; a brother, James King of Washington; five sisters, Margaret Tennant of Amity, Ruth McKnight of Ohio, Valerie White of West Union, Joyce Blatzheim of FL, Cheryl Chapman of Ohio; eight grandchildren, Rodney (Brittany) Curry of Washington, David Howard of Claysville, Ashlei and Shaun Berdine of Washington, Howard and Sierra Sanney of Claysville, Bre Orum and Mike Orsky of Washington; three great grandchildren, Cayden, Olivia and Bailey.
Deceased are two brothers, Albert and Artie King.
Friends will be received Friday, April 14, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m. the time of service at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
