Martha Paulette Ritter, 74, of Washington, died on Friday, March 31, 2017, in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born on April 18, 1942, in Washington, a daughter of the late Ernest Boyd and Sarah Elizabeth Allen.
Mrs. Ritter worked at Rite Aid on Chestnut St, and Deals, before retiring from K-Mart, where she had worked as a sales clerk for twenty-eight years.
Martha loved her grandchildren, and enjoyed playing bingo and the lottery, and bowling with a former league at the Alpine Club.
Surviving are her husband, Ralph Ritter; five sons, Harry (Tina) Cox, Jr., of West Alexander, George Howard Cox, of Washington, Anthony Duane (Joyce) Cox, of Brownsville, Richard Thomas (Tammy) Cox, of Washington, and Keith Daniel (Amy) Cox, of Washington; three brothers, Ed, Chuck and Bob Allen; four sisters, Nancy Jako, Judy Kusch, Marilyn Phillips, and Betty Lemley; nineteen grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Ernest “Ning” and David Allen, and two sisters, Luella and Juanita Crupe.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2017.
Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
