Howard E. “Boogie” Crawford, 88, of Claysville, died, Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at home.
He was born January 10, 1929 in Washington, the son of the late Raymond Crawford and Phoebe Morris Crawford.
Howard was a graduate of Washington High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He worked as an inspector for the City of Washington and enjoyed gardening, racing pigeons and attending the 84 Auction.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews, including Joyce McConn, who was his caregiver; a sister in law, Martha Crawford.
Deceased are five brothers and two sisters.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Washington Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded by American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post #175. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
