Theresa Ann Davidson Horner

Theresa Ann Davidson Horner, 78, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 26, 2017. She was born December 25, 1938 in Washington, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Pollock Mirto. Theresa was a graduate of Washington High School and Penn Commercial and worked at Washington and Jefferson College for 40 years. Theresa was a member of Laboratory Presbyterian Church. She loved spending time with all her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She loved life, her cat, Sparky, amusement parks, summers in Florida and most of all loved spending time with her family. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed greatly. Surviving are three children, Carrie (Billy) Jones of Tampa, FL, Duane Davidson, Nicholas (Sandy) Davidson, both of Washington; six grandchildren, Nicholle (Earl) Henning, Carrissa (Mike) Sabino, Brittney (Jesse) Bonazza, Cara Davidson, Nicholas Davidson, Trisha (Josh) Biggs; eleven great grandchildren, Carrie and Lacey Henning, Dallas McClain, Brooklyn Freyre, Kaleah and Braydon Hane, Mickey, Kylie and Anthony Sabino, Hayden Bonazza and Duane Biggs; four sisters, Pricilla Hodgens, Mary Jane Biss, Darlene McDonald and Marlene Day and her best friend Walter “Buzz” Hatfield. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Duane Davidson and James Horner and a grandson, Billy Jones III. Friends will be received Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Donna Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Upper Buffalo Cemetery.
