Stella B. Gibson, 94 of Washington, went to be with the Lord, Monday, March 27, 2017 at the Washington County Health Center.
She was born July 9, 1922 in Washington, the daughter of the late Joseph and Apolonia Barowski.
Stella was a lifetime member of the Holy Trinity National Catholic Church, where she volunteered for countless church activities.
She was a member of the Ladies ANS Society, Holy Trinity Dart Ball League, American Legion Post #175. She enjoyed church, bingo, dart ball and spending time with her family and friends and loved her dog, Roxy. She was always volunteering and spending time helping others in need.
Stella was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She retired in 1983 from International Paper in Eighty-Four.
She was married to, Edward Sensky, who is deceased. Together they had one daughter, Veronica Capullo.
Surviving are a daughter, Veronica Capullo; three grandchildren, Vickie A. Rehberg, Barbara Pugh, John Michael (Mary) Pugh; four great grandchildren, Michael Pugh, Lauren Pugh, Alex Rehberg and Steven Pugh; nieces Donna (Barry) Staniford, Paula Behm: nephew, Sam (Sandy) Sarnicke; family members, Michelle Behm, Gary (Kristine) Behm and Kristine (Peter) Bray and their children, Samantha, Dianna and Melissa Sarnicke.
She was proceeded in death by her sister, Jennie and two brothers, Victor and wife, Ennes and Joseph and wife Dorothy. Stella was the last of her immediate family.
Friends will be received Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity National Catholic Church with Father Mark Swoger as celebrant. Burial will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
