Luann Gump Knox

LuAnn Gump Knox, 63 of Claysville, died Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Transitions Healthcare. She was born October 7, 1953 in Washington, the daughter of the late Norman R. Gump and Dolores Greer Gump. LuAnn was a graduate of Washington High School and worked at GetGo – Gutman Oil for 24 years. She was a member of Friendship Community Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. On March 1, 1970, she married Danny C. Knox, who died February 6, 2001. Surviving are two sons, Jason D. Knox and Sean C. Knox both of Washington; two brothers, Kelly (Valerie) Gump and Jeff Gump both of Washington; five grandchildren, Jason D. Knox Jr., Kyra Knox, Jacob C. Knox, Joey Piatt and Chelsy Barr; four great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
