Grace Elizabeth Ellis

  Grace Elizabeth Ellis, 64, of Washington, died Thursday, March 16, 2017, at the Donnell House. She was born March 27, 1952, in Washington, the daughter of the late James Arthur Ellis and Margaret Davis Ellis. Grace was a graduate of Washington High School and worked at Cross Roads Convenience Store and Unimart. She was Baptist by faith. Grace enjoyed watching television, reading books, scratch-off lottery games and taking care of children. Surviving are two children, Terilynn Ellis of Washington and Jamela Fitzgerald of Washington; two brothers, James (Cynthia) Ellis of Washington and David (Chantel) Ellis of Washington; four sisters, Alice (William Coney) Ellis, Patricia Ellis, Helen Newton and Margaret Mallory all of Washington; nine grandchildren, Beverly Porter, T’ona Porter, To’Nisha Porter, Demetrius Ellis, Quintaya Ellis, Kiona Duke, Jamarion Fitzgerald, Anthony Ellis and Kadeem Hayes and three great grandchildren. Deceased are a daughter, Denise Renee Ellis and a brother, Charles Ellis. Friends will be received Saturday, March 25, 2017, from 1 to 3:00 p.m., the time of service, at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington. Burial is private.
