Eric Wayne Rudolph

Devoted father and avid sportsman Eric Wayne Rudolph, 45, of Eldersville, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017, in Weirton Medical Center, as the result of a massive heart attack. At his death, he continued to show compassion and love for others, though his gift of organ donation. He was born on October 7, 1971, in Washington, a son of Agnes Paciorek Rudolph Belcher, of Washington, and the late Clark J. Rudolph. A graduate of Washington High School, Eric received his welding certification from WAVTCC, his electronics certification from CCAC, and certification as a pipeline welding inspector, from National Welding Inspection School. He was currently employed by Olson Industries, in Burgettstown. Mr. Rudolph was a devoted and loving father, who coached baseball for Follansbee Baseball Association, where his son, Noah, played for several years. An avid outdoorsman, he belonged to Hidden Meadows Preserve, and Colliers Sportsman’s Club, where he taught his sons the skills of hunting and fishing. As a youth, he participated in organized football, baseball, boxing and karate. He loved spending time with friends and family, especially his two sons, and enjoyed camping, riding quads, and mastering his famous grilling techniques. Eric is survived by his sons, Tyler Chase Fritch, and Noah Austin Rudolph, his mother, Agnes Rudolph Belcher; three sisters, Hope (Chuck) Thomas, of Avella, Jody (Randy) Carter, of Arizona, and Tracy (Michael) Lane, of Texas; a brother, Clark (Bou) Rudolph, of Washington; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends, whom he loved as brothers. Deceased, in addition to his father, are his stepfather, Wayne Belcher, and his brother, Roy Fincham. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA 15301, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 16,2017, with Pastor David Deagel officiating.
